French Hood, popularized by the doomed Anne Boleyn. Made in velveteen (shown here in black) with a heart shaped band to frame your face, and trimmed with faux pearls and gold beads. Ties under the chin with twill tape. The standard veil is made of floaty black chiffon. Hoods were worn throughout much of the 16th century, though they became less popular later in the century.
